Our squad leader, Birdie, founded BIRDIE in 2023, simply for her love of our four-legged friends.
"Transitioning from a small town to a bustling city in Arizona was a real eye-opener. Seeing so many abandoned dogs and cats on the streets, witnessing cruelty, it was heartbreaking. Yet, encountering people who cherish their furry companions with all their hearts reminded me of the kindness that still exists. Believing that love can triumph over the negative, I felt inspired to create a community of pet lovers dedicated to helping paws in need."
